Chongqing Jiangbei International Airport Newly Opens and Re-starts Four International Air Routes

    On July 24, it was learnt from Chongqing Jiangbei International Airport that, in response to the travel peak during summer holiday, Chongqing Jiangbei International Airport actively coordinated with Airlines to newly open and restart four international air routes, which are the Chongqing-Irkutsk route operated by Tianjin Airlines with three flights every week, Chongqing-Bintan route operated by CITILINK with one flight every five days; Chongqing-Koh Samui route operated by Bangkok Airlines with three flights every week; Chongqing-Sabah route operated by Malindo Air with one flight every five days.
 
    According to the reports, Chongqing Jiangbei International Airport will newly open two intercontinental routes namely Chongqing-New York and Chongqing-Melbourne and is expected to newly open Chongqing-Vientiane, Chongqing-Siem Reap, Chongqing-Hanoi, Chongqing-Ho Chi Minh routes within this year. In addition, Chongqing Jiangbei International Airport will operate more flights for the Chongqing-Phuket route and further improve international airline network of Chongqing, to deliver passengers more conveniences.
