“Chongqing Sino-French Emergency and Disaster Medical Cooperation Center” Has a Successful Establishment
On March 27, 2017, the “2nd China (Chongqing)-French Emergency and Disaster Medicine Seminar” and Signing Ceremony of Chongqing Sino-French Emergency and Disaster Medical Cooperation Center was held in the First Affiliated Hospital of Chongqing Medical University. Over 200 experts and scholars from China and France gathered to focus on the new challenges in the field of health emergency and health emergency management.
In recent years, the frequent exchange between China and France in health emergency field has further improved the ability of health emergency and first aid and the management level of emergency system and first-aid system of Chongqing’s medical workers.
This year, Chongqing Municipal Health and Family Planning Commission signed an agreement with France Embassy in China to establish “Chongqing Sino-French Emergency and Disaster Medicine Center” in the First Affiliated Hospital of Chongqing Medical University. After establishment, Chongqing government will organize training courses in terms of emergency and disaster medicine to promote the technology innovation and exchange and cooperation between China and France in the field of emergency and disaster medicine and promote the development of medical simulation teaching of Chongqing City.
Maurice Gourdault-Montagne, French Ambassador to China, and Wu Gang, Vice Chairman of Chongqing People’s Political Consultative Conference, attended the signing ceremony.
