It will be a more and more convenient and rapid treatment process for patients from registration to taking medicines.
An official at Chongqing Municipal Health and Family Planning Commission said that at present, all second-class and above medical institutions in Chongqing have been completely covered by medical appointment service, and all third-class hospitals have carried out various medical appointment services. There are three hospitals, including Children’s Hospital of Chongqing Medical University, having introduced pre-registration service in different time intervals by WeChat Subscription. The same service can also be enjoyed in other two hospitals by using mobile APP. You can make a pre-registration by just calling 12320, or by self-service terminals in six hospitals. In addition, seven hospitals have been available on the online service platform Yishitong for pre-registration.
Thanks to the WeChat pre-registration service, appointment time can be accurate to every five minutes in the Second Affiliated Hospital of Chongqing Medical University and to every ten minutes in Lijia Hospital, the branch of Children’s Hospital of Chongqing Medical University. By using mobile APP appointment service, appointment time can be accurate to every 30 minutes in the First Affiliated Hospital of Chongqing Medical University and Chongqing Health Center for Women & Children. This official pointed out the per-capita treatment time from registration to taking the medicine can be shortened up to 40 minutes in some hospitals.
As for the medical dispute solving, Chongqing has realized full coverage of dispute mediation service. In case of any medical disputes, the relevant staff will become the intercessors promptly. According to the statistic data, compared with that in 2014, the number of medical disputes decreased by 4.13% in 2015. In the first half of 2016, this number fell by 2.28% over the same period of 2015.
