First, international. More than 500 representatives from 21 APEC economic entities, enterprises and academic circles, including APEC Secretariat, Trade Facilitation Section of United Nations, America, Malaysia, Republic of Korea, Thailand and Hong Kong of China, will be invited to attend the forum. It is beneficial to demonstrate the opening-up image of Chongqing, expand Chongqing's influence in Asian-Pacific region and as well as in the world and promote the development of E-commerce industry and relevant emerging industries in Chongqing and even in the Western China.
Second, professional. With the theme of "New Discovery of Value", talks will be launched around the current situation and tendency of Asian-Pacific E-commerce, government-enterprise cooperation in E-commerce, business application of mobile terminal, online to offline, supply chain and demonstration city (base) of E-commerce in the forum.
Third, high-standard. The forum is an important APEC activity undertaken by Chinese government in 2012, and leaders of relevant ministries and commissions of China as well as seniors of APEC Secretariat will attend the forum, bringing new driving force for the development of E-commerce, government-enterprise cooperation, enterprise transition and economic cooperation in Asian-Pacific region.
Fourth, highly-effective and targeted. Chongqing is located at Chinese inland and it is restricted by geographic location and highly affected by traditional commerce and trade modes, such as exhibition, sales exhibition and site negotiation. E-commerce electronizes, digitalizes and webifies traditional commerce procedure, which gets rid of the limitation of time and space, and it can effectively reduce costs, improve efficiency, create more trade opportunities, being beneficial for medium-sized and small enterprises to exploit overseas market and effectively utilize the markets and resources at home and abroad.
